That is the problem we are solving. Every large-scale AI transformation programme has an operational plan. Almost none has a systematic way of knowing which employees are ready, which are struggling, and what each person specifically needs to land on the right side of the change. We are building that intelligence layer, the product, the data infrastructure, and the AI agent that makes it work at scale. WORK-SELF is a London-based AI company at seed stage, founded by Wolf Magdelinic, formerly of PwC, CIBC, Deloitte, and Overbond AI, which deployed a 17-claim US patent at Wells Fargo, Mizuho, and other Tier 1 financial institutions globally before exiting in 2024, and Josh Thompson-Persaud, an ICF- and AC-qualified career coach and coaching network lead.
We have a working product, an active user base, enterprise pilots in progress, and an active seed investor base. We are at the stage where the decisions made about product, commercial strategy, and team composition determine how this becomes a category-defining company. The people joining now will shape the future of the career technology category.

We are a small team moving fast on a problem that is structurally urgent. That means high ownership, short feedback loops, and decisions made by the people closest to the work rather than escalated through layers. We do not have the infrastructure of a large company. We have the advantage of being able to move faster, learn more quickly, and build something closer to the right answer than any incumbent in this space currently has.
We expect people who join us to care about the problem genuinely, not performatively. The workforce transition problem is real, the cost of it is measurable, and the absence of a good solution is visible in every organisation running an AI transformation programme right now. If that problem does not interest you, this is probably not the right place.

Not well-packaged versions of solved problems. The gap between what enterprise transformation programmes deliver and what they cost is a structural failure. We are building the product that addresses it.

Seed stage. Growing. Some things work well. Others are still being figured out. We do not perform maturity we do not have, and we expect the same from the people who join us.

The metric for WORK-SELF's success is whether organisations that use it run better transformation programmes and whether the individuals inside those programmes land better. Everything else (features, sessions, content) is instrumental to that.
